Number 16 is a straight-away and reachable par 5 measuring 493 yards from the tips, 478 from the whites. Depending on the wind, your second shot could be anywhere from a three wood to a 4 iron – for some, even a 5 or 6 iron. This is probably the most birdiable par five on the course. The only things that might prevent one from recording a “4” on the scorecard are: 1.) You need a long drive. 2.) Your approach must be aimed so as to go between a 15 yard opening in the trees to the green. And 3.) You must be able to consistently putt double and triple breaking greens and the severe slopes that accompany them. Other than that, a birdie is a given!
