Number 3 is considered by many the most difficult par four on the back nine. It measures 429 yards and the teeing area is about 20 feet above the landing zone of the fairway which has OB right, a pond right, dense trees left and requires pin point accuracy to get to the landing area of the fairway. Assuming you are in the fairway your approach is not a given. Sand left, water left, water over the green, OB right. No problem, right? The green slopes back to front.
