Number 5 is the second shortest par 4 on the course. It is also one of the par 4’s which are responsible for many double bogies. The cause for this dichotomy is the quaint little pond to the left of the landing zone for the tee ball. At that point, the fairway measures between 20 and 25 yards on a good day when the fairway mowers slipped a little right. As if the pond was not enough on the left, the right rough consists of a mini forest that requires one to pitch out to the fairway. As you can see, the drive is crucial on this hole. Just block out all the danger on the right and left and you should have no problem – until you get to the green which is one of the more difficult to navigate. Good Luck!
